Rouse tempers, goad and lacerate, raise whirlwinds.”

The theater and social critic Kenneth Tynan had this pinned to the wall in front of his desk. His job as a writer was to give readers an insight into what it felt like to experience a theatrical event — he often said he was writing for posterity. Tynan was an agitated critic in that he believed words in action had power.

I share that sentiment. As a copywriter, I integrate creativity, science, audience, and strategy to craft assets that educate and inform, move hearts, challenge assumptions, and yes, “rouse tempers, goad and lacerate, raise whirlwinds.”

I’ve had success in advertising, the arts, and higher education. I can take an idea from its nascent beginnings to a star-studded opening night or launch party, and do so while working collaboratively, honestly, and with a hearty laugh.

Thanks for visiting.
